This page is a short guide to reading Region.uz.
Languages
Region.uz is published in three languages: Uzbek, Russian and English. The language switch sits at the top of every page.
Not every story exists in all three languages. A story appears in a language once the newsroom has prepared it in that language.
Sections and tags
Stories are grouped into sections, which are listed in the menu. The tags under a story lead to other stories on the same subject.
Formats
Besides news, the site carries video, audio, picture stories, infographics, long reads and opinion.
Search
The search page finds stories by the words in their headlines and text. Type a word or two and press Enter.
Search looks through the stories in the language you are reading. To find stories in another language, switch the language first.
Newsletter
The newsletter brings a selection of stories to your inbox. To subscribe, open the newsletter page and enter your email address.
Every letter carries a link to unsubscribe. If you no longer want the letters, follow that link.
